Tina grew up in a small town in north central Iowa. She graduated from American Institute of Business with an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration Legal. Upon graduation she moved to the Dallas area to seek employment.
Tina worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of a wholesale company for several years where she met her husband, Ron. She then worked as the Administrative Assistant to the owner of an investment company. Just prior to the birth of Tina and Ron’s third child, they made the decision to have Tina stay home with the kids. Their two oldest children are currently attending college and the youngest is in high school. The family enjoys spending time together doing outdoor activities and keeping up with whatever sport is “in season”.
Tina met Lee Green in 2008 when her daughter started playing on one of his teams. Coach Green has continued to mentor and instruct Tina’s daughter and enable her to achieve many of her basketball goals, as well as taught her life lessons that are learned through playing in a competitive team atmosphere. In 2010 Tina joined Lee, helping him build Lee Green Basketball and North Texas Heat Basketball by handling the administrative and financial duties of the business. Because of her love of basketball and her vocation, this is a perfect fit.
In assisting Lee, it is Tina’s goal through this organization to inspire, influence, challenge and assist all youth that come through the program to achieve their basketball and life goals in the same way that her daughter has.
